The colonialism had a fatal consequences for many people. According to the data of the UNESCO, 700 mln illiterates have lived in the territory of the former colonial countries.

The 15th Session of the United Nations General Assembly adopted a "Declaration on independence for colonial countries and people and as a result, many African, Asian and Latin American countries received independence, favouring economy, culture and education for these nations.
