Inclusion Still a Big Challenge (from Developing Countries Point of View)

Abstract

This paper deals with the dreams of parents for inclusion. It also reveals the effective efforts of the professionals, negative attitude of the private schools, non-interest and negligence part of public schools and non co-operation of the society for including the excluded. Special class room practice planned and specialised techniques developed are discussed. How to face certain funny situations where some parents of the mentally retarded refuse to mingle M.R. children with normal children is shown. Why inclusion? And how inclusion? Who are excluded plans made, programs prepared, methods applied and challenges faced are given taking from Lebenshilfe's work experiences.
