Abstract

Botswana Government Revised National Policy on Education (1994) acknowledges that the quality of instruction in the teaching profession is one of the most important determinants of the level of learning achievement. In consideration of this, our workshop will address two main objectives:
1. To inform and share our Tonota College of Education experiences with participants.
2. To solicit some ideas from the participants on how best we can develop the teacher training classroom strategies at Tonota College of Education.

Thus the workshop activities will be as follows:

Group Activity

Group Presentations

Final Discussions
Ideas will be solicited and a summary made on how best we can create a way forward for Special Needs Education in teacher training classrooms.
