Abstract
With no enacted Special Education Act, Zimbabwe adopted the Rights Model based on the 1987 Education Act, and the 1990 Jomtien Conference. Integrating handicapped children into the mainstream is generally accepted and practiced at many ordinary schools.
Currently the trend is on Inclusive Education where ALL children CAN be educated at schools nearest to their homes. This paper aims at critically examining possibilities, problems and hindrances to Inclusion, and suggestions made to implement the practice.
