Abstract
This symposium will draw on the work of a network of English schools that has been meeting over the last six years to explore ways of developing inclusion policies and practices. Short accounts of the developments in eight school will be used to foster discussion of the following sorts of issues: - What factors support the development of inclusion policies and practices in secondary schools? - What are its barriers to such developments? - How can schools work together to foster development? Participants will be invited to join the on-going discussions of these issues, adding their experiences and reflections to those of the network.
