Abstract

The legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, provides the right of education for all children, from the early ages to maturity. According to the Constitution, all children have the same rights of education, regardless of mental abilities, psychological abilities or other potential abilities. These rights were implemented in 1997 by the Law of Education and National Programme preparing national specialist.

This programme includes many aspects of the day to day activities of a handicapped person and its main goals are to correctly include and rehabilitate this person as an equal participant of our society.

According to this programme in our Republic will be created Rehabilitation Centres for children with all different disorders, including all ranges of activities. Also we will check a number of professions for young people with such disorders, and we will prepare a new methodology of professional education.

For a long time, parents with children who had disorders, tried to include their children in normal schools. This was not a governmental effort, but it came through the parents of these children. This provided a certain experience in this field. Now we can analyse such experience, and conclude that the results were highly influenced by the co-operation of the parents in the education of their children. It is in the interest of the family to teach their children in a provide a beneficial climate within the family, together with a good communication between parents and specialists.
