Abstract
This presentation will review a variety of approaches to early intervention with children who are at risk of becoming emotionally or behaviourally disturbed. Examples of provision which focus on parent/baby interaction as well as early school intervention, from both Germany and England will be presented. The presenters will explore the evaluation and potential of such work and possibilities of cross European initiatives in this area.
