The speakers will draw upon international as well as national sources to elucidate those common characteristics of good teachers of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. The speakers will draw upon these sources to elucidate those common characteristics to be found in such teachers. Indications of differences, if any, between good teachers in mainstream classes and good teachers of pupils with EBD will be given. Implications for Inclusive Practice will be highlighted. Recommendations for training will also be made.

The speakers will give a synthesised presentation which will draw upon characteristics which they have agreed upon.
