ISEC 2000 is being organised by The University of Manchester School of Education Centre for Educational Needs in association with Manchester Metropolitan University Institute of Education, Manchester Education Department, neighbouring authorities in Greater Manchester and The National Association for Special Educational Needs.
The Centre for Educational Needs has an international reputation for working with teachers and other professionals, schools, school districts and national and non-governmental organisations.
This work is set within the context of ‘Education for All’ and is particularly concerned with the development of effective educational responses to children and young people who experience difficulties in learning, including those with disabilities.
